The quick-change die head features a unique manifold channel design that directs the two colors of material supplied by two auxiliary extruders into the manifold, forming the inner layer extruded onto the conductor and the outer layer (or color stripe) extruded onto the main insulation. This enables instantaneous and frequent color changes for colored jackets, single-color stripes, and dual-color stripes. The mixed material is fully injected into the inner layer, eliminating waste and ensuring no dead spots.
